Prayers please

There is a family in our neighborhood that needs your prayers today. They are going through something so tragic, so terrible, so painful. They are losing their precious little boy to cancer. Michael was diagnosed in April of this year with advanced stage IV lymphoblastic bcell lymphoma. He has been struggling ever since and now, it is just a matter of days before he will be with Jesus. Michael turned 7 last weekend. His parents are so grateful for his 7 years and now want his suffering to end. I cannot comprehend this type of loss, especially now, as a parent. Please pray for this entire family (Michael has two younger sisters) as they say goodbye to Michael. You can read more about Michael at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/michaelsparkman

Absolutely....prayers for this earthly tragedy. Why this happens is unknown to us on Earth.

God hold this family near and given them a sense of peace through their pain....

In Jesus name, Amen

Stories like this affect me so much more now that I'm a mom, too. The mom is so strong! I love that Michael is being protected by angels that he can SEE! My grandma said the same thing in her last days, and I totally believe that she really did see those angels.

BTW, Lil Major got a HUGE grin on his face when I clicked on your blog and the Adam Sandler song started playing. I'm in trouble! =)

Sally, yes she is very strong. I don't think I could ever be that strong.

We are about 4 1/2 hours from Indy I believe. You going there for Christmas?

I just spent the last 3 hours crying as I read all of this precious mother's blogs about their journey. I am so grateful that we have the knowledge that God sends his angels to escort our loved ones into heaven and that we will see them again.

Just read that Michael has passed..... I hurt for his family and feel blessed to have my boys with me. I am soooo happy for Michael that he is standing with Jesus....what an awe struck amazing, wonderful feeling that must be. It must be like holding your children for the first time x's infinity!! Too bad it has to hurt so bad here on earth....
