-13, mommy's helper and Akon

I woke up yesterday morning to check my e-mail and the weather. I saw this and was stunned.

Then, I woke up this morning to do the same and saw this:

What? Is that a negative sign in front of the 13? Yes, it is. This blast of cold that we are having is ridiculous. Where are we....Antarctica? -13 as the temperature? Oh my! This California girl is WAY out of her element!

So what are two girls to do when they are pretty much trapped in the house? Clean of course! Check out my little helper:
She helps with the laundry.......
She helps load the dishwasher......

She dusts........
but sometimes gets side-tracked because it is more fun to eat the can....

All the cleaning was getting a little boring.......
So we played peek-a-boo (her new favorite game)...

She spent about 10 minutes putting the ball in, taking it out, putting it in, taking it out...you get the idea.....
And when it gets boring, just roll over and bang them together for another 10 minutes......

Climbing on mommy and going after the camera is always fun......
And it is even more fun to catch mommy off-guard and tackle her

She now has her new move perfected. I call it the karate kid move.....

And what is more fun than any of the above? Why, dancing of course!
What can I say. The girl likes her a little Akon!
We're making the most of our time inside and looking forward to daddy's weekend off! Have a great weekend!

Do you actually get stuff done while she's awake?? Tell me how!!!

I think you're going to have to come visit me. It's cold, but not compared to you! It's getting into the 40's today. Woo hoo! All the snow from yesterday is almost melted already.

Sally,
I get up at 5. Julianne gets up at 9 and has been switching to a one nap schedule for 3 hours. I am so blessed to have a sleeper and that is the only reason I get stuff done! :) I get nothing done while she is awake except for a little bit of cleaning when she cooperates. She usually wants my full attention when she is up!

OMG, she's a WAY better dancer than I am!

I won't mention that is was 75 degrees here today.

Oh, wait, I just did :-)

P.S. Thanks for always commenting on my blog, I need to get around to doing that to others more, but I'm just so dang lazy!
