Christmas recap

I wanted to post this before the new year arrived but what can I say, I've been busy. So, I'll be posting hopefully a few days in a row now to make up for not posting in a week. First, our Christmas recap.

We had a wonderful Christmas day just the three of us. We hung out, stayed in our pj's all day, watched movies, took naps, and just enjoyed the day together. My parents didn't arrive until Christmas night so we waited to celebrate Christmas and open all of our gifts until the day after. Here are some pics from Christmas morning.

Shaun brought her downstairs when she woke up and for some reason, she wouldn't let go of his nose for about 5 minutes so I have about 20 pictures that look like this:

She then tried to climb the stairs for about 10 minutes and was getting very frustrated that she couldn't do it as seen here:
So Shaun gave her something to climb for which in this case was a video tape for our camcorder....and it worked. She climbed a few stairs for the first time by herself.
She was quite proud of herself
My parents arrived late Christmas night when Julianne was already sleeping so we celebrated our Christmas the morning after with a TON of presents. She wasn't as interested in opening them as I thought she would be.

Mostly, she just wanted to eat them......

or climb on them.....
She had some relaxing time with Sophie......
and some tackling time with Sophie......
here is just a peek at the mess we made......

She loves her new Leapfrog table (thank you uncle Jason and aunt Tonja)
and her new horsey and about 20 other things from grammy and papa

We had a great Christmas and are so thankful for the many blessings we received this year, especially the gift of our daughter. She makes every day more beautiful.
We hope that all of you had a wonderful Christmas!

I want to get one of those tables for J. He's pulling up on his saucer and he's tipped it over a couple times, but he doesn't want to be IN the saucer anymore.

Looks like a GREAT Christmas! =) I love the pics of her holding Shaun's nose and of the dog.

What a fun Christmas! Somehow each year gets more and more fun. Every year we say, "This is the best Christmas ever!"
