That's how you say I'm excited in Spanish (according to google anyway). What can I say...I took french. I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself. We just booked our vacation for April. Not only did we book 5 glorious nights and 6 glorious days at this place but we are going with our best friends!!! Does it get any better than that I ask you? No, it doesn't.
We will be heading out to California on the 1st of April to visit with family and friends and have Julianne's 1st birthday party (a month late but oh well)! Then on the 5th we are off to fabulous Mexico to sun ourselves (not really, I have to wear 50SPF), spa ourselves (the girls), golf (the dudes), and eat and drink ourselves silly! It's been a looooooooong time since Shaun and I had a getaway like this (I'm pretty sure it was our honeymoon almost 10 years ago). We've had weekends away and such but most of our vacation time is spent going to visit family. This time, we get to do both! And to go with Randi and James is such sweet icing on the cake. I can't put into words how much we love them and how much fun we have when we are together. The last time Randi and I went on a vacation like this together was 1996. I'm hoping that western Mexico did not get the message about the 2 California girls who made fools of themselves on the eastern side of Mexico. I figure 12 years wipes the slate clean.
I am looking forward to this and might have to make a countdown calender or something. Yes, I'm a nerd but what else can a girl look forward to when she lives where it has been 16 degrees for the last several days? It's bikini time which means that it is also diet time. I guess we shall see if I can make it to my goal in time for this vacation. Motivation! I also have to buy a swim suit (I haven't bought one since the honeymoon trip). Panic!
This will be us in just 3 short months (just subtract the cruise boat, and add 2 husbands).....
How cool are we in our white sandals? Pretty cool I think!
We are both celebrating. Randi and James had their 10 year this past June but didn't really get to celebrate since Randi was about to give birth and all. Shaun and I will celebrate our 10 year in July so we are starting the party early. A decade of marriage for both of us. I'll drink to that!
