Show us where you live Fridays - Nursery

It's time for show us where you live Friday again. Go on over to Kelly's Korner to see all the wonderful nursery/kid's rooms that people are sharing.
I love Julianne's room. From the moment we found out that we were having a girl I knew I wanted a very girly room for her. I figure I might only have one girl so I wanted to do it up in true girly fashion - pink and more pink! Shaun and I started working on the room about 4 months before she was born and then my mom helped me with the finishing touches a month before her birth. I couldn't wait to bring her home to show her the room. She slept in our room at first but we moved her into her own room when she was about 4 weeks old. We all slept much better after that. She really seems to love her room and always gets very happy when she goes in there. So without further ado, I give you Julianne's very girly room (with her own private bath).

Letters above her crib that my mom did for her

My favorite picture in her room. Ultrasound pictures from first, second and third trimester

Dresser/changing station

Her crib that I absolutely adore. It will turn into her big girl bed.

close-up of the scalloped shelf that goes all the way around the room. Shaun did this for her. I saw it in a magazine and asked him if he could make it. It turned out better than I even expected!

Wall hanging from Homegoods (we were able to find two of them)

curtains made my mom (with blackout lining which is a MUST)

Rocking glider and ottoman. She loved to be rocked up until she was about 5 months old. Not so much anymore but it's a great reading place.

View looking into the bathroom

First side of the closet
Second side of closet (and these are just the clothes that fit her right now). Spoiled much?

Bathroom

One of her favorite spots, the bathtub

Vanity

My baby shower invitation signed by everyone who was there (love it)!

Other wall hanging
Her giant teddy bear daddy bought her before she was born and a monogrammed pillow my Aunt sent her.

So cute! I think the last time I saw pics you didn't have furniture yet. I LOVE the crib and dresser. Question, does she chew on her crib? Lil Major's is black, but he's chewed the paint off on most of the rail...and I was going to use it for his bed until he moves out of thehouse! Now what???

I love it! My daughter's room is very similar with the pink combo. I love your scalloped trim! We ended up doing just flat trim to separate the pinks, so it could be butted up against each other in the corners and there was no special cutting needed.

Okay, first of all, Julianne's room is precious. I love everything about it.

Second, I'm so sorry I'm a lousy commenter for you. =( You are so faithful to read and comment on Writer Chic, and I just wanted you to know that it does not go unnoticed. I'm using this time of bed rest to get caught up on blogs and update my reader, and I promise to try to be better at letting you know I care about you, too!
