Playin' in the rain!

We've been getting quite a bit of rain here in Cleveland this summer. I don't think it's been over 82 degrees the entire summer. It's strange. We got quite the down pour a few weeks ago and Shaun thought it would be really fun to let Julianne play in the rain. She thought so too. I protested a bit at first saying "she'll catch a cold" to which Shaun said "that is not true, that is not how you catch a cold". He is a doctor. I lost that argument fast. Well, he was right. She had a ball, didn't catch a cold, and daddy is super cool because he let's her go outside and play in the rain. I definitely need to relax a little and let her enjoy moments like these when she is little. How many of us grown-ups would be so happy about running around in our driveway in the rain? She was soaked in mere minutes but was smiling from ear to ear!

that's what daddy's are for!

i am a neurotic mess when it comes to storms and rain. i'm always afraid the boys will get struck by lightening. John just shakes his head and does not heed my ominous warnings.

Moms make the world go round, but thank God for Dads to make the world a little more wild. Good on you for allowing this.

Oh fun! Wait, I think you need just one more picture in this post. LOL

We've had a rather rainy summer, too. We've had temps up in the 90s, but for the most part we've hung around 70s, 80s, and sometimes 90s. VERY weird for us! Our garden is a little later than usual, too. But it's about to harvest with a vengeance.

Love the shots!
