My lack of posts is pathetic.  What can I say?  I'm tired.  I am starting to really feel pregnant now and am suffering from the aches and pains that come along with it.  I'm having some back pain but not nearly as bad (at least not yet) as what I had with Julianne.  I got a pinched nerve when I was pregnant with her because of how she was positioned.  NOT FUN.  I am praying that this does not happen again.  There were many nights that I came home from work and would lay flat on the ground and weep because my back hurt so bad.  I don't have anything like that yet (thank goodness) but have just been having a bit of lower back pain after being on my feet a majority of the day.  I try to rest but chasing after an 18 month old doesn't make resting easy.  I am also having a bit of problems/pain with my legs.  I have a vein that looks like it burst and am hoping that I do not get varicose veins.  I have heard they are very painful and the risk for getting them increases with each pregnancy.  I ordered some compression socks yesterday that I'm hoping will help.  And yes, I felt like an old lady when I was on the website ordering those socks.  I'm pretty sure they cater mostly to elderly people.  Other than these few aches and pains, I'm feeling pretty good.  This girl is a kicker just like her sister was.  Every night when I lay down to go to sleep she starts her dancing.  I love it but sometimes do wish she would do it during the day instead!

It's been in the 50's and 60's here all week.  Summer is officially over.  I've been busy changing out all the clothes in Julianne's closet to her fall wardrobe and packing away all her summer things.  At least I know I will get to use that stuff again.  She had a few things that she didn't even wear at all.  This new baby will have a fantastic wardrobe waiting for her and she should get to wear all of Julianne's things as there will only be a one month difference in the time of year they were born so all the seasons should match up.  This makes Shaun very happy because he doesn't have to buy a new wardrobe!  He's still a little concerned about paying for another wedding though!  Ha!

I've been busy dreaming up ideas for the nursery.  I think we have found the furniture we want and I need to order it soon.  I'm now having tons of fun looking at fabrics online and looking at cute accessories on Etsy (I LOVE Etsy)!  Stay tuned for pictures of the progress of the nursery.  I'm hoping to get started on it soon.  I want to do something completely different than we did with Julianne's room so no pink this time around.

I'm looking forward to this weekend.  Shaun and I are going out for a belated birthday night for me on Saturday.  We're going to dinner and then to a concert (Selah and Avalon - 2 of my favorite Christian bands).  It will be nice to get out and spend some time together.

Well, that's it for tonight.  I'm heading to bed.  I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still here, just busy and tired.  I hope everything is well in your world!

I hope you get some rest and soon. I remember being more tired with the second than with Jamison. Enjoy your wonderful date this weekend, that should be a ton of fun.

I have a couple of friends who did light greens for their baby girls' rooms and it turned out very nice! Be VERY CAUTIOUS if you do yellow. As I found out, it's easy to go WAY TOO yellow. Also, my friend, who is an interior designer, said that yellow is not a good color for babies' brain development.
