You bring us so much joy because you are so very happy. You flash smiles at everyone and will let anyone hold you (no stranger danger yet). You crawl so fast now it's hard to keep up with you. You are into everything and are a little mischievous. For instance, when I unloaded the dishwasher the other day and turned around for a minute, I turned back around and you had the bottom rack completely out of the dishwasher and on the other side of the kitchen.
You started pulling yourself up to a standing position about 2 weeks ago. You first did it on the bathtub and now do it on everything...toys, the coffee table, people (my leg), the dog, etc. You are such a determined little thing and you want to move constantly. It is nearly impossible to dress you and change your diaper. You are so strong and HATE being on your back so you immediately try to roll over and crawl away. This is why I always get you dressed and change you on the floor. Tonight, you tried to climb out of the tub. I'm pretty sure that you will be a climber.
You wear size 3 diapers and wear 6-12 month clothes. You have lots of rolls! You love solid foods and eat a lot! You have no teeth yet. I keep thinking you will get one any day because of all the drool but I always thought that with your sister and she didn't get a tooth until she was 11 months.
You sleep 12-13 hours at night (thank you Jesus) and you take 2 naps a day (usually about an hour and a half each). You love your pacifier and if you wake up in the middle of the night I can see you on the monitor crawling around your crib to find it and you stick it back in your mouth and go right back to sleep.
You love playing on the floor with your sister. She shows you all her toys and is pretty good about sharing them with you. She shows you how things work, draws pictures for you, sings to you, reads to you, and can't wait for you to wake up every morning (you out sleep her now). I love watching the two of you together. It warms my heart.
You are really good at smiling for the camera. When you see it you just start smiling. I don't even have to make silly noises anymore.
Of course you get bored rather quickly and just want to move/climb.
