goings on

How do 10 days go by without a single blog post? Well, here's how.

Your mom comes to visit. She helps you put up all your Christmas decorations for days. You shop til you drop with mom. You get your hair done since you have someone to watch your girls. You go out for a night with your awesome girlfriends since you have someone to watch your girls. You take your mom for a night out with some friends to show her your appreciation. Your husband who hasn't been home in 2 weeks is home for a weekend and you squeeze as much family time into those 3 days as possible. You have a horrible headache on Sunday morning and your husband lets you sleep til 11am while he takes care of the girls (love you babe)! You pack up your 2 1/2 year old for a week with mimi and papa and send her off on an airplane with your mom. You panic at the thought of your 2 1/2 year old on an airplane without you. You feel relieved when your mom calls and tells you your girl behaved like an angel on the airplane and is having a blast! You wait with eager anticipation for this Friday when you board a plane with your husband and youngest girl to go to California for a reunion with your oldest girl and a long weekend with your parents and some other exciting things. You go to bed every night this week at 9pm because you are so exhausted. You soak up every second of one-on-one time with your littlest girl and remember how easy it was to only have one child to care for at a time. You thank God that you have such wonderful parents who love your girls as much as you do and practically beg you to take your kid off your hands for a few days.

So, we've had a lot going on here. My mom visited for 10 days, all the Christmas decorations are up. Julianne is safely in California with my parents having a ton of fun and Claire and I are here enjoying some time together. We're off on Friday afternoon to California for a few days for exciting things (more on that to come) and I'll return with both of my girls in tow just in time to eat turkey. To keep me busy until we are off, I have a list of about 100 things to do while I only have one kid (which includes about 5 blog posts I have in the works). I'm off to start on it. I hope you all are having a great week!

I'm tired just reading this. I can't believe that you have the Christmas decorations up. You're good!
