Thanksgiving at Lake of the Ozarks

It was just the four of us for Thanksgiving and Shaun got a few days off so we decided to go on a little trip. We headed to Lake of The Ozarks, Missouri for a couple of days. We stayed at a resort and ate Thanksgiving dinner, relaxed, did a little shopping, and just had fun spending some time together as a family. The weather was nice, the resort was quiet, and we had a great time!

Claire cheesing it up!

Claire is miss independent so she no longer wants to ride in a stroller, hold your hand, or have help in any way. She decided to walk by herself when we went for a stroll around the resort.

Cheese!

She made several stops along the way for rocks and leaves

The great thing about kids is how they find wonder in the smallest little things (like leaves)

Sharing a leaf with sissy

On our way home, we did the best thing on the whole trip. We stopped at Bridal Cave and went on a tour of it. So cool!

None of us had ever been in a cave before so we really enjoyed it! We had a tour guide who told us all about the history of this cave and we got to walk into it and explore!

Julianne loved it!

Reaching down to give sissy a hug!

And the best thing according to the girls.....

Making pillow beds on the floor of the hotel room! They love hotels!
