Charlotte trip

My brother and his family recently moved to Charlotte, North Carolina so for my mom's 60th birthday we decided we would all go and have some family time!  The girls were so excited to see their cousins.  My brother has two little girls as well and oh my is it loud when they are together!

Julianne was super excited!
She is our entertainment while we wait for airplanes.  Can you tell?
Duirng our layover, we got a bite to eat.  Claire ate all of hers in one bite!

The girls made my mom two cakes (one for a 6 candle and one for a 0).  Can you tell the girls decorated them?  There are enough sprinkles on them to decorate a Thanksgiving Day float!
My nieces are silly.  So am I.
Shaun was able to join us for the weekend as were my aunt and her husband.  This is Shaun and Todd (can you tell they both work too much)?
We spent a lot of time at their club pool which was a lot of fun.  Julianne got a swim lesson from her Uncle Jason (three years of summer swim lessons and the kid still can't swim).  Uncle Jason had the most success any of her teachers have had though.  Baby steps people, baby steps.  I shouldn't complain.  I didn't learn how to swim until I was 6.  She gets it from her mother apparently.
Best part of the pool = snack breaks!
This is Shaun in between two car seats in the back of a minivan.  Hilarious!

Julianne and Bree went to a summer art camp while we were there.  Every day for a week they went and did different art projects.  They loved it!  Julianne loved showing off her work on the last day!

Unfortunately, this is how she looked at the end of every day.  Kid draws all over herself.  Apparently she gets her artistic talent from me as well.

Julianne and Bree could not be more different.  This video sums it up perfectly.  This cracks me up.  You can tell what both of their personalities are like in this short 13 second video!

And if you're wondering what it's like having 4 girls...take a little car ride with us.  Every time we were in the car it was like this.  Their favorites were Call Me Maybe and this little ditty!  Crazy girls!

We headed home after 11 fun filled days!  The girls had a blast playing with their cousins.  Thank you Jason, Tonja, Brantlee and Bree for putting up with us for so long!  We love you!

I know I look excited in this photo but this is actually me being terrified.  Two flights with a 2 and 4 year old usually make for interesting times.
Good thing they love each other so much!

And a really good thing that Claire passed out!  I survived!
